Ancestry Project Wins TESL Canada Innovation Award for Digital Teaching Resource (Website)

Proud moment. I am pleased to announce that Ancestry Project is an award winner!

In June 2017, at its annual conference, TESL Canada awarded Ancestry Project an Innovation Award, in the category of “Digital Teaching or Learning Resource (website, software).”

Since launching the website in January I’ve worked very hard to build a unique e-learning website and get the word out via flyers and social media. There’s now a small community of users engaging with content like the Famous Canadians reading series and the Introduction to Digital Storytelling course.

Thank you Irina Simpson for your editing suggestions and graphic critiques, and thank you Thane Ladner for your support with project planning and flyer distribution, and your contribution to the Canada Road Trip digital story.

And sincere thanks to Dianne and the team at TESL Canada for supporting Canadian educators and recognizing the contribution of Ancestry Project.

Welcome to Ancestry Project, an award-winning website providing courses and Canadian-focused resources to teachers and educators. I’m Mike, founder of the site. Registration for the website is free and many of our materials are available as free downloads. Join our community today!
